1 Year Old!!!

Oh Max as Mommy sits down here to make your 1 year old entry, I come with mixed emotions. I have learned so much from you this past year, the most wonderful thing I have witnessed is what an amazing daddy you have. Watching the two of you is the highlight of my day, and his love for you is deeper than anything I have ever seen. And trust me, you have been a bit of a pistol this year ( we love you mieces to pieces but your sleep habits haven't been the best). I have learned that I as a person can do much more than I thought was possible. Somehow I manage to take care of you and your sisters, work full time and all the things mom's need to do and I did most of this with about 4-5 hours asleep at night. You taught me patience, oh have you taught me patience, sitting up feeding you and rocking you in the wee hours of the night and playing with you for hours when I know I am suppose to be doing a million different things. You love me know matter my mood, looks or health... you just love me pure and whole and that my son is why you have my heart. I have learned that you bring love to so many people, just one little guy touches more lives than he can imagine and I love spreading your cheer around. Today we celebrated your 1st Birthday with our family and close friends, you of course were your usual ham when the camera's were on and wanting us all to laugh at every move you made on your Mickey Mouse cake. I have spent the last few hours thinking about your birth and the first time we locked eyes and kissed. I will never forget holding you, kissing you and the look in your daddy's eyes as he sees you. Max you are the most lucky boy in this world, thank you for all that you have given us and for all of your smiles, orneriness, laughter and love. Happy 1st Birthday, may your next year bring you just as much joy.
